Rival 41A

Origin Yachts are proud to offer "Homeward Bound", a Rival 41, tall cutter rig. This timeless family blue water cruiser is designed for long-range cruising. Powered by a Perkins 4236 67HP Diesel Engine with fixed 3-blade prop. She offers a large open-plan saloon with an aft cabin layout, two heads with showers and a well-equipped galley. She comfortably sleeps 9 in two cabins, the saloon and an aft owner’s cabin with an ensuite. The cabinetry and joinery throughout the yacht have been finished to the highest standard. She has a tall rig, with an encapsulated lead keel.

"Homeward Bound" was recently set up for long-range cruising in the Mediterranean. The rig was dropped and serviced in 2021. Her inventory includes; Pressurised hot water to showers and galley with calorifier and immersion heating, an unused Holding Tank, diesel heater, Fridge, 35lb CQR and 25lb kedge, 50m stainless steel chain, Wire jackstays, Radar reflector, Safety harness points in cockpit, Lifebuoys and Plastimo Danbuoy, MOB and swim ladder midships, VHF radio, Cockpit speaker (new 2022), Electric bilge pump, Manual bilge pump in cockpit, Engine-driven Jabsco pump, Edson wheel steering pedestal and compass, 24V Electric Windlass (rebuilt 2022), 24V service and engine start battery banks with separate battery monitors at chart table, 2 Lucas marine alternators with external regulators, 240v shore power system – sockets, Battery charger, 240V inverter from service batteries, Raymarine evolution autopilot c2014, Raymarine I70 wind, depth and speed with 3 cockpit repeaters (new 2022), Vesper AIS Transponder c2014, HiFi Radio, Cabin & cockpit speakers.
